Sine Phase Tracking Tool



New Controls to 'dial in' on a resonance and maintain peak amplitude by way of Phase vs Transmissibility. Enables tracking of High Q or sharp resonances.

When a product begins to fatigue, the frequency values of its resonances will decrease, but its phase value for the resonance will not. Using the frequency-tracking SRTD method, when the product begins to fatigue the test will no longer be dwelling at the resonance of the product because that resonance value has changed. Using Advanced SRTD, the test will continue to maintain the same phase, but allow the frequency value to adjust with the changing resonant frequency of the product. Read the paper

Angular Control



Configure your rotary system for angular unit control with angular system limits. Users can now directly enter a sensor radius when controlling by rotational/angular acceleration. VibrationVIEW will automatically re-calculate your shaker's limits based on that radius, and provide control in angular units.

Charge-Type Calibration



We've now added charge-type sensor calibration cability to our Accelerometer Calibration Verification test software (VR9106). This software package can now calibrate both mV/g and pC/g sensors.

Native MS Excel Reporting

In addition to being able to report to MS® Word we can now also report to MS® Excel. Users can now organize and manipulate data in a variety of ways using all of MS® Excel tools. A number of templates are included.

Sine Resonance Track & Dwell Display



Up to 20 user-defined resonant frequencies can now be displayed along with a new amplitude vs phase plot. One click report printing, phase tracking and resonance selection parameters are all within an easy-to-use test window.

Random Control Enhancements



We've now added a weighted-average control method for our random vibration test module. This is in addition to maximum, minimum, average and open-loop methods.

The assigned weight is relative, so as an example: assigning a value of 3 for Ch 1 and a value of 1 for Ch 3, the weighted average for Ch1 = 75% and Ch3 = 25% of the total.

Our new "highlighted traces" tool makes it easier to find the channel trace you're looking for by highlighting that trace for a second. You can use this tool by either clicking the trace directly on the graph or inside the channel legend. Watch the video for a demonstration.

Sine Resonance Track & Dwell Graphing




Users can now view resonance tables from stored data files by opening the data file and pressing hotkeys Ctrl+T. From there the user can generate reports and tweak parameters for analysis at any time.


Test Sequencer Update



Run different test types in sequence (sine, random, shock etc) without any user . Now test sequencer includes the option to store everything in a single folder location for easy data and report retrieval.

THD - New Analysis Tool in Sine Testing




Our new THD measurement graph in sine testing allows users to evaluate the total harmonic distortion of a system under vibration. This includes the shaker armature, head expander, fixture or product. Take a snapshot of your THD often to analyze changes in a system over time.
