Calibration is all about confidence in the results you're getting. Calibration assures you that your measurements are accurate within the specification limits. Every new VR9500 arrives freshly calibrated and adjusted, with a Certificate of Traceable Calibration to NIST. Annual calibration verification is your prescription for the continued health and performance of your controller.

When it comes to calibrating your controller you have options:

Option 1 -  Calibrate Yourself

Calibrate the VR8500 or VR9500 Revolution system in your own calibration laboratory using your own calibration instruments with the automated Calibration and Verification software (VR95-CAL) and an Agilent 34401A or 34410A digital multi-meter.  Verification/Calibration of the VR9500 hardware can be done with an automated process that requires an Agilent 34401A or 34410A multi-meter and some BNC T’s and cables (this is the equipment included in the optional VR95AC package). There are two parts to the procedure; first, you must do the verification to ensure the unit is within tolerance. The automated procedure provides data and pass/fail info and we provide a template for the data in a final report. The second part is to do the automated calibration adjustment portion (this does not have to be done if the unit is verified to be within tolerance, which we have found is always the case). The licensing for the automated Calibration & Verification (VR95-CAL) is an annual license that is automatically enabled if you renew your Software Maintenance Agreement each year. If you don’t renew your Software Maintenance Agreement each year, you can either purchase a permanent license or an annual license for the hardware box. Contact our sales department for pricing.

Option 2 -  Send to Vibration Research
